Hey, I'm Bart! An avid fan of RPGs, my venture into the tabletop world started about 10 years ago. I fell in love with the amazing, immersive worlds and the agency that players have. Only later did I discover the realm of boundless possibility that having the GM seat grants. Since then I've been overjoyed to share stories with others whenever I can.

How Bartosz Rainka runs games
I love absolutely every aspect of GMing. On one hand, I'm very drawn to rich, immersive settings - they make the game world feel almost real, creating the perfect background for vivid memories. It's an amazing feeling when players become invested and genuinely want to learn about the world, and to then be able to actually answer them. It also makes the roleplay more meanigful, the stakes seeming more legitimate. On the other, I enjoy engaging, tactical combat that allows for all adventurers to have their moments of glory and triumph. I also encourage creative ideas and solutions - those tend to make the most memorable moments, even if the plans don't necessarily work out. Most importantly, the story is being told together with the players - there is a need to be flexible and respond to the feedback from the table. Some want a more RP heavy experience, others more challenging, combat heavy scenarios - I'm happy to tell either kind of story.
