About me

"Hello traveler! I see you have scrolled quite a long way searching for a GM. Why not sit down by the fire and let me tell you a little about my adventures. Take a rest from your long journey, and perhaps, I can lead you astray?" "I have been adventuring since I was 8 being conscripted by my father to fight zombies and skeletons and all solve all sorts of problems. After a fated encounter with a WITCH, one of the most horrid creatures to wander these lands, I decided to take fate into my own hands. And at the age of 11 I began creating my own worlds, not unlike my fathers, and telling stories with my friends. 7 years later I would consider myself well travelled and ready to lead only the bravest adventurers, like yourself, through the landscapes of foreign realms." I love getting immersed in story telling, trying to fully understand the players and their characters, to create motivating hooks and tie ins with player developed ideas and backstory. The more collaborative the experience can be the better. But I'm willing to put in 110% into my sessions, and try to produce the most engaging experience I can, even if you can't write a 5 page essay on your characters favorite foods. I really enjoy "doing the voices" as my players have called it, and trying to make that other world as real as I can for my players. I typically run games with high stakes, low HP, high damage and lots of tense roleplay. I usually try to keep combat "low effort" preferring less number crunching and more flavor and drama. So don't be surprised if everyone is capped at ~20-30 HP (for medium sized creatures) and knives (everybody's knives) do d12+STR dmg. I don't like when characters get "superpowers" from non narrative based sources, like class, or race abilities. But I certainly don't shy away from giving those out in other ways. I will most times put in place an artificial level cap, or just be stingy about giving XP.

GM Style

I like to focus efforts on creating a tense roleplay heavy experience, I love "doing the voices" and keeping number crunching to a minimum but combat still exiting. My goal is to tell a collaborative story with my players, to explore their characters and worlds.
