About me
My name is Jake, I’m a GM for hire that uses the Pathfinder 2e system and I love teaching people how to play. By hiring me, I will run an adventure that will introduce you to the basics of Pathfinder 2e and grow your skills as your character levels up. I also welcome experienced players who are looking to try something new, or if your forever DM/GM wants to take a break and be PC again. I hope to instill a love for these games in others, like I have. Allow me to show you how much fun we can have using engaging storytelling and shiny math rocks. I’ve been playing Pathfinder 1e and 2e for about 5 years now, out of the two I prefer 2e for its ease of player introduction and action economy. Out of those 5 years I’ve had GM experience for about 1.5 years. I have experience with high-level Pathfinder 1e (character run from level 1 to level 16 and one level 18/20 one-shots), mid-level Pathfinder 2e (currently GMing an adventure that will take the PCs to level 15), and mid-level Starfinder (GM’d players up to level 10) I want to make homebrew campaigns set in the Pathfinder 2e world that my players have their own input in creating; from a general theme that can span multiple locations and countries to a campaign that may only take place in one area/city. If the group wants more combat, let's roll for initiative. Want more RP, then I'd love to get all of your charisma checks.
GM Style
Rules are an important part of TTRPG’s. Rules are also meant to be bent a bit. I aim to keep games GM’d by me within the rules as much as possible, but my personal GM style is geared more towards the concept of “rules are more like guidelines/rule of cool”, meaning that if you want to do it: you’re going to have to give me some good role playing and meet the dice checks I give you. I enjoy role playing, giving the NPC's their own life and voice. Though if you're looking for anything steamy I'm going have the scene quickly fade to black and we pick it up the next day. Combat-wise I'll play it tactical when needs be but I'm not going to have non-pack animals flanking you, and if says mindless...well it's going to attack what ever is close to it or what it was programmed to attack.
