About me

I have been playing tabletop games over the last 28 years. Over three of those years I enjoyed playing as a GM / DM. I enjoy a wide variety of games ranging from many different editions of D&D, Gurps, Call of Cthulhu, Rifts, Mutants and Masterminds, Star Wars (D20 and Fantasy Flight), Star Trek Adventures, Fate, and others. I get a lot of enjoyment running games for people, and I do my best to help my players get as much enjoyment as they can from my games. I hope to be able to a game with anyone that may have an interest.

GM Style

I start by sitting at the gaming table (virtual or in person), and helping the players decide what type of character they would like to play. I don’t push what the party may need, but I also don’t deny telling them what could be useful or fun to play from what they tell me. When I start the game, I like to run a session to let the group figure out how they get to know each other, rather than just throwing them into a group with no connections. To me this is important so that the players can begin with some sort of bond or connection. During a session, I will always prefer the role play to be of higher interest than just allowing the mechanics to do all of the talking. That isn’t to say that I ignore any of the mechanics, just that I like it when players bring their characters to life more so than not.

Games played
