About me

I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons for well over a decade now and I have been a GM for going on 5 years. I've run dozens of campaigns and one shots that are fit special to first time and returning players. I am also an artist and use my skills to create a vivid scene in theater of the mind!

GM Style

I like to give my players an open world. That means if you don't find the haunted noble at the tavern interesting - you don't have to talk to him. Player agency is my #1 and I require open communication from players so that I can develop the campaign one-shot to their interests.

Marli Is a great DM, we had a group of about 6 people playing is a bi weekly session that took place in the same world that 3 other players had originated from a few decades later. All around great world builder, sets the scene with ambience and music, she had dialogue for antagonists prepared in advance and was also great at improvising on a whim. Our campaign also had a new player about halfway through and Marli was extremely accommodating. If I could tick more than 3 tags I definitely would. For anyone wondering about the rule of cool / allowing for player creativity: I played a moon druid in our campaign and used conjure animals to summon 8 cr 1/4 snakes before using wild shape to turn into a cr 2 cave bear. I argued that since I had the same move speed as the snakes we should flavor it as one entity and I would just make the snakes only attack instead of having an entire turn and making combat last twice as long. This is how our campaigns level 6 dps tank was born all because of the rule of cool. 1d6+? per snake then cave bear multi attack. Combat from then on out was balanced accordingly, and we had some really great sessions, its a shame we stopped playing. Pro tip: Be kind don't be rude, if you become an issue there will be a talk.

Greatest D&D experience I've ever had. I played a wizard in this campaign that lasted 6 months and went once a week. It started strong and only got stronger as our player group grew in influence and created a faction to challenge the authoritarian rule of one of the kingdoms. The campaign evolved into waroom tactics and espionage. With an absolutely unforgettable climax of the final seige and overturning the upper echelon. The results of our campaign left permanent changes to the world we inhabited, and even spawned new a new campaign with my character as the ultimate antagonist. Absolutely 10/10 can't wait to play again.

Had a blast through several of her campaigns. She kept her games lowkey and casual, with great storytelling, NPC interactions, and some fun plot twists ^w^
