GM style

[Character Creation] I like to work closely with players to make their characters become who they are meant to be and to tune our role playing system so that it hits just the right notes for everyone at the table. By the time most characters have played a few sessions, they have something that distinguishes them from any other character, be it a new class, feature, piece of lore, or death. [Combat] I tend to not just throw encounters and monsters at the players unless it serves some purpose, but at the same time, I understand that the G in TTRPG stands for GAME. Combats and encounters will be tactical, and if you're into it, punishingly difficult, with cunning foes and multi-phase boss fights with deep mechanics that reward inventiveness and preparation. But the rewards will be commensurately great, and I have hundreds of homebrew items, features, hidden classes, abilities, and boons that you can uncover and unlock as you engage with the world and conquer its challenges. [Role Playing] I get pretty immersed.
