About me
A lover of storytelling and an avid gamer, I've been playing games since I was a kid and TTRPGs since 2018. I was first introduced to D&D through watching Critical Role, and when a friend invited me to a table, I was hooked from the get-go. I quickly realized that I wanted to not only play but also GM games that encouraged both myself and others at the table to craft meaningful, creative stories together. In addition to playing D&D, I read and write both published literature and fanfiction. I play a lot of video games, primarily RPGs and strategy/builder games. I also enjoy rock climbing, swimming, and sailing. I'm also a big history buff, particularly world history in the 1200-1700s. If we have any shared interests, I'd love to chat about them!
GM Style
A game master since 2019, I love running games rich in roleplaying, with a heavy emphasis on character development from backstory to the final boss fight. I like communicating frequently with my players to make sure that their play experience is consistently positive, and while I'm very familiar with the rules of D&D 5E, I prefer finding ways to help my players accomplish what they're attempting within the bounds of the game rather than using the rules as an excuse to prevent them from trying something creative and fun. I love worldbuilding and developing complex, engaging plot hooks for players to pursue. My campaigns often heavily involve character backstories, which I like collaboratively building with players to weave characters into the world they'll be exploring. I enjoy running combat that involves varying terrain and tactical enemies. My monsters' actions are driven by character motivation in and out of combat, and I frequently modify existing monsters or homebrew new ones for major fights to reflect the characteristics of the enemy that the players are facing. My table is LGBT+ friendly and actively anti-racist. New players welcome!

The game was awesome. Andrea told a fantastic story that was fun and allowed for a lot of player creativity throughout. It was very refreshing to play with a family friendly atmosphere and would defiantly recommend Andrea for those newer players wanting to gain a bit of confidence in their role play.
Andrea is an amazing DM that is very engaging in the session. Despite or maybe even because of theater of mind the session was well prepared, well structured and terrifically presented. The one shot had a great theme and everyone at the table had a lot of fun. Andrea was also great in combat, moving quickly and precisely through the turns. I can definitely recommend them as a GM and it would be a pleasure to play in a campaign/one shot of theirs again.
Andrea is a class act, and everything a player could ask for in a DM. They have the impressive ability to create such vivid and detailed worlds and balance them with truly well-crafted stories that integrate player preferences and satisfying character arcs. Micro or macro, every aspect of Andrea's world building is so well thought out and immersive, it truly is easy to get lost in the story. Andrea asks for just the right amount of feedback from players- not so frequent that it becomes a chore, and not so sparingly that we don't have a chance to revaluate and readjust as a group periodically. Andrea values the players preferences above all else, making sure everyone feels safe, heard, and included at the table. With several fun and interactive Discord channels Andrea created, I found myself thinking about our game and my character much more frequently when not at the table, and feeling inspired to share ideas and connect with fellow players. Andrea doesn't miss a beat; to say she's prepared is an understatement. They pour so much energy, time, and care into every session and it truly shows when I get to fully immerse myself in the world and just play. Andrea has been great about setting up expectations and ground rules for players, decreasing the chance of any confusion or conflict down the road. When conflicts arose regarding scheduling, they handled it with diplomacy and grace. This may seem a little cheesy to say, but I know Andrea cares about my character as much as I do, and the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful story has been the opportunity of a lifetime! I cannot recommend Andrea highly enough.
