About Bets
Hey hi! I'm Bets (they/them). I like naps and diet soda. I watch 30 Rock every day. I've been playing 5e for almost 6 years now, and DMing it for 4. I'm also a professional actor, so I've been role-playing for over 20 years. My games tend to have rather silly premises filled with really tender and genuine moments. (I even have a Mall Madness-themed game-night one-shot!) For now, I'll be running one-shots until I find a group of folx I can trust not to ghost me for a campaign. Also, I tend to enjoy the higher-levels of play. I would not suggest my games for first-time players, as the character-creation elements can become slightly overwhelming. My table is open, accepting, nonjudgmental and fun-focused. It's silly and humorous when the stakes are low, but challenging and intense when the stakes are high. I've only ever run homebrew, but if you've got a group of pals and you're looking for someone to run you through a pre-written module, shoot me a message! We can probably work something out. Thanks for your time!

How Bets runs games
First and foremost, I'm an actor. Role-playing will ALWAYS be present in my games. I enjoy coming up with NPCs. I love character voices (although not required from you). I really like when my players immerse themselves in the world and real emotions happen at the table. I also love dick jokes, so it kinda balances out. That said, what I love about the higher levels is the combat. Math brings me much joy, and as such I love crunchy tactical combat. I try my best to create a world that appropriately challenges my players, without my active cause being to kill your PC. That said, you still might die, girl. Be ready for that.
