About me

I've been a Dungeon Master for around 4 years, and while that's not as many as some of the other Dungeon Masters on this site, I believe I bring something unique to the table worth sharing with others. One thing I like to focus on is utilizing the digital aspect of playing Dungeons and Dragons online, whether it be beautiful battle maps brought to life with various effects, or chilling ambience and powerful music making your roleplaying moments that much more memorable. I spend a lot of time prepping, which isn't ideal when you have a fulltime job, but I want to make sure every single person on the table has an amazing time, and if the extra time I put in will lead to that, then that makes it all worth it.

GM style

My GM Style can be summarized with the phrase "rule of cool". I enjoy letting players flex their creativity muscles and will always do my best to reward them. I love to create interesting characters who are unique and easy to remember, I also use a voice changer when it comes to special NPCs or monsters so they remain in the players minds even more. I also use music and ambience to bring different locations to life. If you're in a cave, or a bustling city, the background ambience will reflect that. If you're fighting a few goblins, or fighting a gigantic dragon, the music will reflect that. Lastly, whether it be art or battlemaps, I love to use visual aids. I know not everyone has the widest of imaginations, so this helps make both the players and the dungeon master on the same page.
