About FlyBlack
I've been running D&D games since I was fourteen, and have always had a lot of fun with new players! I enjoy teaching people how systems work and running through custom scenarios with them to help them really feel like they're getting into their characters! LGBTQ+ friendly as heck, as I myself am simply unreasonably gay. Hi!

How FlyBlack runs games
Roleplay is the center of my experiences. I want to help my players become whoever they want to be instead of just playing archetypes, so I will spend a great deal of session 0 time helping them create a character that is truly them. For this reason, I tend to favor text-only games over voiced ones, allowing people to feel more comfortable if they're not comfortable with their voice, and letting them feel more free to explore other identities, genders or whatever they may wish! As a DM who knows players love to collect NPCs, it helps me not burn out my throat too, as an added benefit! My games tend to be new player friendly. I attempt to scale the intensity of combat and challenges to the group. All newbies, it'll be a little softer. A veteran to lead, there might be some more challenges, so on and so forth! I tend to favor world consequences over player kills, though of course death is always a failure state if severe problems come up. And outside of the games I'm running, I can always be summoned to help you design characters or feel out how your character should think, act and feel, themselves!
