About me

I remember when I was about 10 years old and my brother introduced me to DnD for the first time. So, at that age I had the joy of experiencing a cool little story where my brother had the key NPC betray us after our successful dungeon run. I wasn't keen on having our loot taken, but I was still hooked. Fast forward 30 more years and I have made countless friends through TTRPGs. Seriously, I met most of the people I would call 'best friends' through DnD. That's amazing to me. I still find that gaming makes for fast friends. Its one of the main reasons I am always drawn to it. I never became a professional game developer, but many of my friends are. What I am is a TV producer and a published author. I love story telling and playing some really creative characters. Gaming is always an experience, its that awesome combination of competing to have the strongest character, teamwork just to survive, creative thinking through puzzles...and so many more things all rolled into one experience. I am always looking for that next epic adventure.

GM style

I am a huge fan of creating experiences. Players deserve to have awesome scenes laid out for them so that they can truly shine as their characters. The stories a GM tells should draw the players into that world so that just like any good book, you want to know what happens next. The great thing about being a GM is being able to tailor your adventure for how the players want to experience it. I am a fan of truly epic combat, mind bending puzzles, and awesome role playing experiences. I use the best of technology to tell those stories with Roll20.net. Seriously, I remember the first time we used the dynamic lighting system and my players got separated in a dungeon and played out trying to find each other while having monsters hunt them down separately. It was cool. One of them actually described it as 'spooky'. If I had to pin down my style in a word: custom. I like making things custom. Custom world, adventure, and experience. My players deserve to have an experience like no other.
