About me

I have been playing and running RPGs of all kinds since 1980. I am a nerd and geek on many levels. I first started reading The Hobbit in the 1st grade and was hooked on Middle Earth, as well as fantasy and sci-fi in general, ever since. I have played many RPGs starting with Chainmail and continuing with all the versions of D&D except 4th (3.5 is my favorite), GURPS, Middle Earth Role Playing, Rolemaster, Traveller, Space Opera, Paranoia, Robinhood, Star Wars, Star Trek, Pathfinder, you get the idea. I am new to the platform but hope to bring an enjoyable RPG experience to anyone who shows up at the table. Initially I am going to focus on running games of Adventures in Middle Earth. I am most comfortable in that world and want to provide the best experience I can. I love the fact that Middle Earth is a Low-Magic setting with many epic stories still to be told. GM Style

I try to provide the experience players are looking for. I am certainly a fan of theater-of-the-mind. I will provide maps for players who need them to be able to better visualize the scenes. I am not a voice actor, so I apologize if that is the experience you are looking for. I do bring a deep love of Middle Earth to the table and, though I would not consider myself a Tolkien Scholar, I do have a depth and breadth of knowledge relating to Middle Earth that should provide an enjoyable, immersive experience for those at the table.
