About me

Hi team! I'm a 30-something year old who has been playing and running RPGs since I was 12. I work in Theatre and Education, and I have a deep interest in History and Storytelling. I enjoy good characterisation, thought provoking plot, and complex decision points. I specialise in Horror games, but I have been known to play and run in Fantasy Adventure, Historical Drama, Sci-Fi Politics, and everything in between. I have even been known to run the odd comedy game on special occasions. In particular, I like Unknown Armies, Call of Cthulhu, World of Darkness, Android, Little Fears, and Legend of the Five Rings. I love seeing new players blossom, I love seeing people expand their involvement and skills in RPGs and Interactive Drama, and I love seeing people find their place and being around their people. To this end, my table needs to be safe for people to explore their characters, and our characters are all projections of ourselves on mannequins, so in order for someone to be able to explore that projection, they need to be able to feel comfortable, themselves, at the table. I don't want people who make people feel unwelcome for their ethnicity, gender, sex, or sexuality, and I feel strongly about this. GM Style

I'm a big fan of Story, and that usually means Roleplaying and Critical Decisions play a big part of my stories. I like realism a lot, because it makes the decisions sharper. I like decisions having consequences, and I like when tough choices need to be made to save the day.
