Games Run, Sword Lessons, Life Advice. Hey, folks, I'm Quincy. I've been in this scene for a few years now, running games since the beginning. I love design. I love the digging into the philosophy of games and seeing what new things have to offer. And, of course, I love giving players interesting choices! My favorite game is Burning Wheel by Luke Crane. I just fell in love upon reading it, and it's had my attention ever since! I'm also into Blades in the Dark, Twilight: 2000, and just anything with a tight design. I love games, and I love gamers. GM Style

I love to run character-driven games. I like for my players to feel like the game is following their characters and the decisions they make. I don't think of my job as preparing a story-line or getting the players to the end of the adventure. I think of my job as providing and promoting interesting choices for the players to make -- and honoring the consequences of those choices. I also like rules! I like systems! I believe that rules allow players to meaningfully influence the game, to understand the possible scope of their actions, and, therefore, to make meaningful decisions. (It's all decisions with me, isn't it?) So I believe in using rules, and I like for my players to believe in using rules too.
