About me
I have been playing TTRPGs and Tabletop Wargames for 20+ years. I started out dungeon mastering for my personal friends. My first game as a DM was when I was 12 and I invited everyone I knew. It ended up with 13 of my friends and family all packed in my family's small kitchen eagerly waiting for their turn to interact with the small wizard's tower I made up for them. I've come a long way since then.
GM Style
I have a solid grasp of the 5e ruleset and do very well with combat in particular. I have a good number of the WOTC published adventures and also open to creating a homebrew world for my players. I attempt voices which sometimes fall flat. I am great at running combat crunchy or otherwise. I use Foundry VTT and Discord for my games. I'm fairly proficient using both applications and can help troubleshoot most issues players may have.

I would say that Eric's play style works well with beginners. If you have any questions or concerns, he is quick with the answer. I would say that the games have always been light and fun, but when it comes down to the nitty gritty he buckles down and makes the adventures more intense and exciting. He has a keen sense of world building that really engages all players as well.
Eric is a fair, funny, and giving DM.He has allowed me to play my own subclass that I created. He makes your backstory mean something and have conquences with it.Your choices matter. Combat is his playground and he is constantly evolving his play style, story telling and monsters to challenge you.
Really relaxed and chill guy. I'm very new to D&D and Eric is fabulous at making sure you know what's going while making you comfortable and confident about playing. On top of that his knowledge of the game and years playing would definitely fit those who have much more experience than I. Overall he's a funny, goofy guy who knows what he's doing and you'll have a great time with him as your DM.
Really flexible on play styles, whether its combat and progress focused or roleplay focused. Great for first timers, will guide you if needed, but really allows for you to take whatever path you choose. Very helpful on advice for building your character as well. Quite good at homebrew stories and dungeons as well, providing a variety of challenges instead of just waves of enemies. He's also in general very nice.
Eric is a fantastic GM for beginners as well as advanced players. I have played in a number of his campaigns over the years. He really excels at working with his players to develop their characters and the world into something that is uniquely impactful to the whole table. Eric is a very flexible GM that errs on the side of fun over rigidity. He does this through his knowledge of the rules and storytelling, allowing him to bend them for the sake of player enjoyment. A master of tailoring the difficulty of combat encounters, he will frequently add puzzles alongside the fighting to keep things interesting. With the advent of programs such as Foundry VTT, our sessions with him have become more alive and fluid, allowing for a more engaging experience. He is always well prepared for our game nights and eagerly accepts feedback to improve his craft. My friends and I have made so many memorable characters with him!
