About Dungeon Mister
Hello there! I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons for about 25 or so years, along with a few other TTRPGs. I have had experience as a Dungeon Master for about 20 of those. Within the last few years I've really started to enjoy the possibilities and the creativity that being a DM has to offer, and have started to run more and more games, trying to up my repertoire of voices and creative thinking. My greatest joy with being a DM is the ability to bring people from different walks of life together to tell a communal story.

How Dungeon Mister runs games
I strongly believe the story is that of the player's characters, not some grand story for me to tell. I have played with new and veteran players alike, both bringing different things to the table. I want the game to be enjoyable for all players and work my hardest to make it so. I'm a big fan of reactive play. I set the world and the scene for your characters to react to however you want, and then the world in turn reacts to those actions.

My games focus on...
Group choices and player agency. I am a big believer in it being a game about the characters and less about the story around them. Players drive down the road that is the game. How they drive is up to them, almost entirely.
When it comes to voices
I do them, but they are not great. I am willing, but untrained. I tend to stick to the few I know, but more I just change the tone and style of my voice rather than doing actual voices.

I love it when a player
thinks outside of the box or thinks creatively about situations, which can turn into something even I hadn't thought about. Even using an ability in a new and interesting way can lead to a shining moment.
I think min/maxing...
has a small place, as long as there is a good character behind it and not just for the sake of being the best build or destroying the game. I want the flavor and substance of a character to add to the story. The struggle helps define this as well.
