About DM Lewinston
Hello! I'm Winston. I've been running 5th Edition D&D for over 5 years for Adventurer's League and also my own homebrew 5E game for the past 3 years. I also like playing other systems, some of my favourites being Feng Shui 2; Kids on Bikes and Gamma World, (yes, the old 4th Edition game). As an artist, I like drawing my own characters and I also create my own homebrew content. I'm also the author of 'Gloryanna: The First Volley'.

I became a GM because
I realized I could straight-up play more characters like a maniac.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Working on art and various D&D homebrew. Hopefully I have enough time to play a game I like.
How DM Lewinston runs games
I roleplay quite a bit, I do voices, I try my best to accommodate everybody. That said, if I had to really narrow down my DMing style, I use the 'swaddle and toss' style of DMing. Swaddle: Treat your players with respect; make sure they're having a good time; comfortable, happy to be involved and entertained. Toss: Throw them off a cliff and see what happens. I'm genuinely happy when they survive, I don't like killing PCs.
DM Lewinston's ideal table
I run a pretty chill table! Ideally, my players are able to get along; care that there are other players among them trying to have a good time; are able to roll along with the roleplay and are able to enjoy a moment vicariously through another player's character. Most importantly, everyone is having fun and I try my best to facilitate that. At my table, I expect some decency. Simply put, if you're indecent towards another player because of where they're from; what their gender is; their romantic orientation; ethnicity or heritage than you're not welcome at my table. So far, many people have been able to abide by this very easily.
