About me

Hello friends, and welcome to my little page. My name is Jason and I've been playing Role-playing games for over 40 years. In that time I've delved into may different styles, formats, systems and roles. While I prefer Fantasy Roleplaying games, which I feel lend themselves more naturally to the typical gaming expectation I have both played and run a significant amount of "main stream" systems and have seen (or participated in)pretty much everything. If you are reading this, then you are my tribe. And I'm very happy to meet you.

GM Style

I tend to run a very free form game in most situations. But that's because in the beginning these were more adventure game than they were role playing games. That said conflict resolution I try to keep organized as I have found that a more relaxed methodology tends to greater error and less player agency. However Theater of the mind's Eye, communal story telling, etc are often incorporated when a situation presents itself. The critical component is always emersion. ALWAYS.
