About DMAzerep

About Me I’ve always been drawn to deep, layered stories — the kind where every answer leads to more questions, and mystery lingers just beyond the next rolled die. I started as a player, became a Dungeon Master, and never looked back. Whether I’m welcoming first-timers or veterans to the table, my goal is the same: make every session unforgettable. With a vivid imagination that refuses to quit and a love for immersive storytelling, I’ve built Eriya, a massive living world shaped by the choices of dozens of adventurers. It’s a realm with history, heart, and hidden truths waiting to be uncovered. You won’t just play in Eriya — you’ll leave a mark. How DMAzerep runs games

🎭 GM Style 🎙 Character Voices, Mood, and Vibes I always aim to bring the scene to life — whether it’s a grizzled barkeep, the flicker of torchlight in a ruin, or the subtle tension of a stranger's smile. Expect character voices, ambient sound, visual aids, and carefully built mood. I'm here to immerse you. 🧩 Secrets, Riddles, and Underlying Truths Every quest hides something more. You’ll find mysteries tucked into dialogue, riddles laced through scenery, and lore embedded in throwaway lines — if you’re paying attention. If you love secrets, you'll feel right at home. 🖊 Descriptions That Hit Descriptive narration is my pride and joy — if I can imagine it, I’ll find the words for it. But exploration is a two-way street: don’t just “look around.” Ask me how the moss feels, what scent lingers in the hall, or what that sigil might mean to someone from your village. Give me those juicy character-driven questions — I will absolutely meet you halfway with rich, specific storytelling. ⚔️ Tactical Combat That Thinks Back Creatures act like they want to live. Goblins coordinate, wolves retreat when wounded, spiders flank when they can. Combat isn't just turn-based — it’s tactical. Expect parleys, prisoners, retreats, ambushes, and intelligent responses from even the smallest foes. 🎭 Roleplay Encouraged, Never Forced I know people start shy — I did too. But when you start feeling your character’s choices, their excitement, their danger... you'll blur the lines between player and PC. I’ll always encourage RP, but never demand it. Let it come naturally. 📦 Inventory & Continuity (Intermediate+ Groups) I don’t expect you to track every quill and copper piece — but let’s be real: that 50lb rock in your pocket dimension from five sessions ago does matter when you want to carry a pike. I’ll handle most of the continuity, but I love when players take notes, track goals, and stay connected to their character's journey. 💬 OOC Clarity I’ll always clarify when I’m speaking out of character, and I ask the same from you. What “Steve the player” knows and what “Castro the character” knows? Two different things — and clarity keeps the immersion strong. 🚫 Meta-Gaming? Not Here. Meta ruins magic. Trust the process, roll the dice, and let your choices speak. Win or lose, the most unforgettable moments come from playing honest, not from player knowledge creeping into character action. 💡 Collaborative Storytelling Have an idea? A wild homebrew dream? A plot hook you want explored? TELL ME. I love building story arcs and world details inspired by my players. This is your story too — let’s write something epic together.

I prep by

I avg. take half a page to a full page of notes per session, recording all the quips and quirky stuff to develop a fun future lining where what the players think of become apart of the world in a natural state. My prep is on the fly beyond pre-thought maps.

My favorite trope is...

time... don't ask me for time unless your ready for it.

My games focus on...

the players. I have my world built out but hardly does it get played, as its often overridden by the mildest turn to wildest creations of the players.

DMAzerep's ideal table

Maturity with the fun on top. Open minded and willing to learn, we play dnd like any other group, but we play it deep, and full of love which im sure many do too. But ive at times been told its a bit complex, just understand this: Your coming into a community whos played campaign after campaign in a world they have actively created alongside me for almost 5+ years now. The moment you join you pop in like a MMORPG to our community in a campaign team and your story and history begins. Then you too will contribute to the story as a whole. But this is often also tough to jump into, I offer supplements that explain XYZ in its mildest tones as i work up a beautiful INTRO pdf. And the community can share the rest, through their POV of how it happen or what they hear etc. Its how we play. Together even across eachtother campaigns.

I love it when a player

provides a rich backstory and lets me connect to it.

I think metagaming...

is a tool for punishing players. As history in my community goes anyone who metas gets their goal but with a twist...

I think min/maxing...

Is absolutely fine. Its wonderful to understand the bare min. and the best highs possible in a game, whether your lack of or just wanted to see if its truly a play style difference I welcome it. Just know I'm a pro at handling it.
