About me

I have been a wargamer and tabletop roleplayer since I was nine, which was longer ago than I care to think about, as such I have a wealth of experience to draw upon but I do not rest on my laurels and constantly study the craft to improve my game. For years I struggled to satisfy my DM needs around a full time day job, now I aim to ~make~ being a DM my day job!

GM Style

Do you prefer games where your character faces actual peril and risk of death, and where as a result of the risks the rewards and glory are all the sweeter if you succeed? Do you prefer games where your character's choices matter, where those choices may well change the direction of the narrative and even have consequences for better, for worse? Do you prefer games that are lovingly crafted original campaigns, with emotionally charged scenes that set the tone for the adventures that follow? Do you as the player prefer to view the game world through the eyes of your character and make choices accordingly in the full knowledge it may not be best "mechanically" for your character? Do you prefer to be on voice ~and~ video for a more immersive and interactive experience as a player? If you can answer "yes" to any of these then we might be a good fit for each other If you could say neither "yes" nor "no" then I am Schrodinger's DM to you and it could be worth a session to find out the answer! If you just had to say "no" then I wish you well in finding the game and DM to match your wants and needs, but do not be a stranger. Who knows you may one day find yourself craving to delve more greedily and too deep!
