About Darshwood

Oh man, where do I start? I guess the first thing you should know about me is that - even though I'm new here at StartPlaying - I have been running Dungeons & Dragons since I was a kid and I have spent much of my entire adult life attempting to build and hone a ton of related performative skills like acting, improv comedy, magic (yeah, I'm actually a professional magician... like for real, sleight of hand and stuff), etc. I've even taken special courses in voice-acting and dialect training. As you can imagine, my favorite part about being a Dungeon Master is creating memorable and fascinating stories with some really cool people. I particularly enjoy introducing my players to the many lively and lovable NPCs that inhabit my world but I also love and respect all of the other facets of the game as well like combat and exploration. Heck, I might even throw an occasional little puzzle at you from time to time. Join my game and you can expect some of the most intense and unique battle scenarios against some of the most challenging creatures and villains (some of which you'll love to hate making the taste of victory so much sweeter). You'll also find yourself caught up in the middle of a great mystery that needs to be solved. And we'll have a ton of fun doing it!!! Hit me up if you have any questions of just need some help choosing a game that is a good fit for you! Thanks so much!!!

How Darshwood runs games

Role-Playing 39% You get a bountiful offering of unique and interesting NPCs to interact with. Combat 33% I'll be on honest... Many of the encounters are intended to be lethal and I don't pull any punches but smart strategists and players that work together always come out on top. Exploration and Puzzles 28% My campaigns tend to have an overarching mystery that drives the adventure forward. Clever (or at least resourceful) PCs will eventually be able to pull the layers back to reveal the answers to some of their questions. Rules of all WOTC published 5th Editions source materials for character creation are welcomed.
