Hi thanks for considering me as your next DM! My name is Luis and I started hosting games because I absolutely love storytelling. As a teacher and writer with a passion for fantasy, I found that running games was a perfect way to combine my interests and share them with others. I'm not afraid to get really into character voices or act out dramatic scenes. And I'm always looking for ways to make the game even more immersive and engaging. As the Game Master, I might be guiding the story, but I'm always open to my players' suggestions and contributions. Everyone's ideas and input are valuable, and I strive to make sure that everyone feels heard and included. Overall, I find hosting games to be an incredibly rewarding experience, and I'm so grateful to be part of a community of fellow gamers who share my love of storytelling and adventure.
I'm also all about making my players feel like the heroes of their stories. I believe that every player should have the chance to shine, to do something really cool and memorable that they'll remember for years to come. That's why I'm a big fan of the "rule of cool" - if a player wants to try something that's not strictly allowed by the rules, but it would make for an amazing moment in the story, I'm all for it! 🔮What to expect? 🎭Roleplay- I absolutely love doing voice acting and emphasizing role-play in my games. Whenever I can, I try to get into character voices and really bring the world to life for my players. Sometimes our sessions could just be RP experiences! 🏹Epic Battles- Hair-raising battles with villains and the slaying of monstrous creatures can be found her! If you are looking for interesting battles that have you at the edge of your seat, grab your character sheet and get ready! 💀Dungeon Crawling- Sinister traps! Head scratching Puzzles! Mind boggling ruins! Oh my! I love making the exploratory part of role-playing something memorable. I do everything I can to create worlds that are immersive and believable, but at the end of the day, it's the players' choices and actions that drive the story forward. I'm there to facilitate that, to provide challenges and opportunities and consequences, but I'm never trying to railroad them or force them down a particular path. And that, to me, is the ultimate goal of being a GM - to create a world that people can escape to, where they can be the heroes they've always dreamed of being.
