About me
Let's begin with the glaring reality that I have a lot less experience than most, if not all, of the wonderful GMs on this platform. However, that's exactly why I'm here. I want to be a better GM and I believe that what I lack in experience, I make up for in enthusiasm and connection with my players. In the past few years, I have GM'd for beginners and veterans alike and all have given me positive feedback on my ability to make a game fun. Now let's go back to the early 2000's, when my two older brothers and myself were crowded into their bedroom. My oldest brother brought out a copy of Hunter: The Reckoning and we started hunting vampires and other creatures of the night. In our first encounter with some low level blood suckers, I aimed my pistol, fired, and rolled low on the d20. The pistol jammed and I was hooked. I spent many of the following years exploring other aspects of fantasy and rpg's: novels, video games, etc. It wasn't until a few years ago that I finally came to terms with the reality that I have to be the GM if I really want to play ttprgs regularly. It was a daunting task at first, but I quickly fell in love with the gig and now I yearn to use my GM skills to introduce more and more people to this wonderful hobby. So, if you're new and interested in a fun time learning the games, I just might be the GM for you. If you're a veteran and you just want to have a good time, I think I got you too. Can't wait to see you at the table!
GM Style
I love roleplay. I love improvising with my players' choices. I practice the Rule of Cool. Players need to try really hard to experience PC death.

Played Rime of the Frostmaiden with Lou, and it was awesome. We had quite difficult party to deal with: players from all over the place, from US, EU and all the way to Ukraine; two first-timers, me, relatively new to the hobby and two monsters with 25 and ~30 years of D&D experience respectively... and Loupy nailed it. He is very supportive with his players, in 3 sessions newcomers felt like they were doing it whole life; experienced guys commented him on how he handled tricky situations at the table; and he is very procative with creative players (the way he interweaved character backstories in the module is just amaizing). For the games Lou always had vast prep ready: maps (animated!), music, reference pictures, pre-made notes... its always was there. And with all of that, whenever we were going completely out of expected direction - improvization was near-instant. A couple of seconds of DM confusion and boom, we had a map outlined by hand, location description being created on-flight and even sound effects are coming from his mike. Had to shorten my spare time due to irl stuff, but I'm looking forward to get a spot in his group again. And if not - I have a strong feeling that my next DM would have tough time impressing me =)
