DM Etch is very thoughtful of the players' experience and creates a welcoming environment to new and experienced players. I appreciate his willingness to provide clarity around what to expect, consistency in his approach, his flexibility and willingness to incorporate your ideas for your character and their goals into the game, and professionalism in facilitating the gameplay so that everyone gets a chance to fully participate as well as have their moment(s). He's also patient and kind with beginners to D&D. I felt like I have been able to immerse myself in the game while getting to know the other players at the virtual table, both in-character and as people. I highly recommend DM Etch!

The DM is extremely experienced and weaves together backstory and plot with grace and respect towards the character. The combat is challenging and rewarding, the environment is interactive and engaging, leaving me wanting to play longer at the end of every session.

I have been playing with DM Etch in another campaign for at least six months and have thoroughly enjoyed it. He is very familiar with the rules as written, encourages creative storytelling from players while weaving it in to the campaign itself, fosters a comfortable and cooperative play environment, and provides excellent gameplay. On top of all this he maintains being incredibly organized and thoughtful to players and their own personal journeys with their characters. I could not wait to join when I found out he was doing another campaign.

DM Etch is my favorite DM. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the mechanics and the game world, takes great care to incorporate character backstories and arcs, and has the ability to really bring NPCs and villains to life through careful consideration of their motives and goals. His combat encounters are tough, but I've never felt targeted or that he was giving monsters metaknowledge, and he really rewards the party for creativity and teamwork.
