Well, how about we add one more thing to that list? |:::| A Hero ⚔️|:::| Hi, I'm Dawson, and I have been a DM for the past three years. I started my journey into this fandom by watching the D&D show "Dimension 20" while browsing through Youtube, and my obsession with D&D has not stopped since! I'm an avid fan of Critical Role, and Matthew Mercer has heavily inspired my DM'ing style. I started running the game with my family and was utterly terrible at first. But over time, I bought and read more books, I watched more Critical Role, and I eventually settled into my role as more of a storyteller than the "rules robot" I was before; because that's the magic of D&D -- it's about the story you tell with your friends of heroism, tragedy, missed opportunities, and creative strategies. It is my honor to facilitate that magic in whatever form it presents itself. May the dice be with you.

GM style

I love setting up in-depth roleplay opportunities for my players but can also stomach the most intense, dungeon-crawling tactical minefields known to all mankind (according to player preference, of course). I also specialize in a diverse array of character voices and sound effects (think Matt Mercer but with fewer toothy maws 😉). And on a campaign wide scale, I prefer to emphasize character development and serious thematic tension as opposed to other, more light-hearted GM's. Regarding game mechanics/rules, I favor the "Rule of Cool" DM-ing style, but only to the extent of rewarding player creativity and effort where appropriate.
