About me

My name is Allan Knowles. For the last 5 years, I have been running games of Dungeons & Dragons with friends, family, and total strangers. My background in the performing arts, table top battles and game design have given me a solid foundation on which to build my Dungeon Master style. I have loved every minute of Dungeon Mastering and guiding my players through their adventure. Role playing games are all about choice and freedom, so staying flexible and thinking on my feet have become vital survival skills as a DM. My games include a healthy mix of combat, action, humor, exploration and role-play, so be prepared for anything when you pick up your dice. Who knows where our journeys will bring us next!

GM style

I love bringing characters to life on both sides of the DM screen. And when the dice demand, killing them off dramatically too. Combat, exploration and role play are my favorite parts of D&D. Improv and spontaneity are key elements of my stories as well; when a player has a great idea that doesn't fit what I have prepared but is too cool to waste, I'll work with that player and the group to spin it into some of the most memorable moments of an entire campaign!
