About me
Greetings, adventurers! About yours truly: I am a long time player of multiple TTRPGs, including D&D (2d/3.5e/5e), Mutants and Masterminds, Vampire: The Masquerade, Mage: The Ascension, Marvel Multiverse RPG, and Rifts, among others. My current favorite established system to play and to GM is D&D 5e, but there are some things about 2e that I also appreciate (i.e. vast array of adventures/lore - 5e is still building its library up.) In addition to running random already published game systems, I enjoy the challenge and creativity of homebrew, and encourage players to reach out and make recommendations for games they would like to play. I love to advocate and act as a soundboard for the gaming pioneer. If you are such a "creative" and would like a chance at playing a game of your own design with a group of random players, I would love to take it on. Hit me up to create a schedule for it!!! That is... more than enough about me. I want to meet YOU and create stories as a team Let's go!
GM Style
* Capable of running set adventures and improv alike, and typically aim for a relaxed and (often) humorous (or perhaps traumatic, depending on my evilness check for the day) environment, whichever route seems to best fit any particular group of players. * As a general rule, the rules are made for the players, not the players for the rules - but structure and rules will be followed to the point that games and adventures aren't "overrun" by megolomaniac renegades. (Yes, I am talking to myself as a player there. I like... toying with things involving magic, too, ya know. Sending miscellaneous 20th level casters off into space or working an internal fire spell on a Rakshasa as a 9th level mage... the DM of that game still regrets letting me put that one on as a continuously available! But that's our dirty little secret...) * Good or evil? I allow players to decide, however, evil characters do have a strange tendency of running into tarrasques jumping out of random bushes pretty quickly if it appears they are going to ruin the game for other players. We're trying for positive team feels here ya'll. (Yinz. You guys. Whatever.) * Leveling / character building - I am a strong believer in giving players something to work towards, most specifically the development of a character. So I will usually start any given group of players on a level 1 (or low level) adventure/campaign and build up from there. So for those who want to be doing Weird spells and 500 foot flying jump kicks outta the gate, sorry, may be awhile before you get that chance - just sit back and enjoy the ride up there.
