How DerrylTheHero runs games
I really like to make a meal out of interactions with non-player characters using fun voices for practically every NPC. Though I am a dungeon crawler at heart, I think even dungeons should feel lived in and have character and a personality to them. Lore is a huge part of my games and the more you play with me, the more you will see connections between various games I run. Some sessions can be a bevy of npc interactions with some exploratory aspects to them, while others can be heavy fights meant to make you sweat!

(on more than one occasion) for multiple days at a time for my yearly Dice Fest. We get together from accross the country, rent a cabin in the woods and roll some dice. Wake up, Eat, Game, Repeat. Serenity at its finest.
Rules are...
Adhered to when they serve the game, but can be dynamic for the sake of creativity. Rule of Cool is a common occurance and i've been known to bend the rules a few times but I don't ever want to undermine the experience of the system. There may be a "cost" to do more than would normally make sense.
