About Me Hey you....you're finally awake! Hello adventurers! My name is Heather, but I go by Denali Wapter online. I have been playing D&D since 2011 and have been a "forever DM" since 2020. My time as a player has created a deep love for the game, but more importantly for the experience it allows people to share together. I have a pretty flexible schedule to be able to run games based on what works best for my players. Whether you're a group looking for a table, or a lone adventurer looking to join a party, I'd love to have an opportunity to share an exciting new world and story with you!

GM style

I personally enjoy roleplay heavy campaigns that are rich with story, intrigue and character development. I aim to run a campaign that is well balanced with all of that and combat, but ultimately cater to the wants and needs of my players. I work closely with my players (as long as they want it) to get to really know their character and what they want or would like to see for them. That doesn't always mean they get exactly what they want, but it allows me better insight into what direction to go for their character arc and to create a more personalized experience. As a DM, I do not "run" the story; I narrate it as the players progress and allow them to be the ones "writing the story". I currently run Module campaigns, but modify them heavily to fit the group playing and add my own "flare". I run games for anyone from first time players to long term players and even other forever DMs. What I really want for anyone at my table is an amazing, fun and memorable experience. I do my best to create that through my narrative, but also use maps, music and art and fun voices for NPCs.
