About me
“You scroll through a list of names, their portraits, ranking, and price line the page next to them.” “Do any of them stand out to me?” “Roll a perception check.” “Natural 20! For a total of 28.” “One does stick out. His portrait is unassuming but something about his profile draws you in for a closer look.” My DM style is very player focused. When I start writing a campaign I start with a basic idea or a theme and then use the players backstories to help fill in the rest of the story. I like to use my own setting. This keeps the story and situations fresh for the players and since it’s not a setting the players had played in before there are plenty of surprises. In fact one of the reasons my players, who are all pretty experienced players, enjoy my campaigns is because I am able to surprise them despite their TTRPG experience. And since the setting is my own I can allow any published race without restriction. I eat, sleep, and breathe TTRPG’s. Honestly 99% of my waking moments is spent thinking about new campaigns and encounters and producing TTRPG content for YouTube, TikTok, or our podcast. My primary experience is in D&D 5e but I am currently working on learning Pathfinder 2e with Call of Cthulhu next on my list.
GM Style
Very player focused. I like to have a mix of social and combat encounters and moments for my players to role play. I prefer open world sandbox and will avoid railroading the party. I present options for the party to choose and follow and this can lead to in game consequences depending on their choices.
