About me

Hello! I'm Oz, an experienced GM, roleplayer, writer, and former improv performer. I keep my rates low coz I do this to raise funds for my cat's medical care. And also because it's fun. I'm just saying, money is not the goal. It's to enjoy this lovely pastime of ours. (And to help my cat.) I love hearing my players laugh, cheer -- or even curse! The highs and lows of tabletop adventure leave amazing memories that round out this little life that we lead. I am happy to be part of that journey with you or anyone else. You're breathtaking! Okay, give me my breath back. I need it to do this job. Lots of talking, y'know!

GM style

I'm a chill guy. I like to give players space to do their thing, as long as they don't go against the player agenda of the game. You might guess that the Powered by the Apocalypse system has a big influence on me. That's correct, and I especially love running those games. I'm big on storytelling and roleplaying. I encourage character work and collaboration. I'm always happy to listen to players' ideas. But I play by the rules. Sometimes I do bend them, but only when it would be really, really cool. I also seek to deliver a fun combat experience. I try to keep it interesting and keep it moving!
