I have never written an review before but I really wanted for this because she does a great job Dming and I wanted to show my appreciation for it. When I was new at D&D and decided to play in one of her Campaign, I quickly saw what an amazing DM she was. Devon helped me setting up my character and patiently explained everything I didn’t understand even though I had a lot of questions because I had no clue how to play. The session zero and the consent sheet really helped to not only have a safe space in the discord channels, but also within the sessions, I feel really comfortable playing and every session is a lot of fun.(Mention of character death ahead) My favorite thing is that even though she takes death seriously, it doesn’t necesarily have to be the ultimate end. Because she thinks on ways to get you back, if you want to, but with a catch to make death not meaningless. For example my Character died accidentally touching a sphere of annihilation. I got revived by an powerful entity but lost my memories. That way death still has consequences but I didn’t have to give up on my character, it also opened a lot of new roleplaying options. Playing D&D in hee campaign is my highlight of the week and I look forward to it, especially if the week was stressful. If you are looking for a Dm with hard but possible Bossbattles, cool roleplay and a safe space discord, you have definitely found her in Devon. Devon is a amazing Dm and storyteller. She is quick on her feet and keeps the party engaged. Her broad range of knowledge over a variety of game systems makes her a a well of knowledge

Devon is an incredible storyteller, she invited me to her table during a time where I wasn't sure I wanted to play DnD anymore and reinvigorated my love for the hobby. She gives so much light to her players and her stories and I cannot recommend her tables enough. She balances difficulty and works with players to figure out what works best for them in terms of characters. When you sit at a table with the Dark Souls Storyteller, be ready for a wild ride, it will be a blast from beginning to end, and I know you will enjoy it as much as I have.

I met Devon 2 years ago when she was looking for players who were interested in playing a D&D 3.5 Curse of Strahd; before this, I only played D&D 5e. Devon walked me through how to create a character in 3.5e and offered suggestions that would work for my vision of this character. Players are required to fill out consent forms. The reason for this is if a player has something they are uncomfortable with, it can be avoided. During session zero, she went through what she expected of us as players and allowed us to share what we expected of her as our GM. While she doesn't pull her punches when dealing with new players, she helps them with patience and understanding. Devon is willing to explain stuff to everyone to help them understand.  She is a wonderful storyteller who draws you into the story as it's being weaved. This is done by using different voices, visual aids, and once in a while, she will use music to set the mood. Devon's games can be dark and trauma-filled, but there are also many times where fun and light parts happen. After heavy sessions, she will check on how the players are doing. In her games, you are free to explore and make choices. Understand that for every choice you make, there will be a consequence.
