Characters! Voices! Wild, improvised situations! Combine that with a unique story that I couldn't tell you how it may end, and you're describing one of my games. My favorite thing about being a GM is overpreparing details and content, and then letting players run wild and touch none of it. The intersection of facts, rules, and unpredictable player choices is what makes games worth running. My games aren't "fast and loose" so much as they are "allegro and flexible." The goal is for everyone to have a fun time, surprise themselves, and feel some things if the moment is right. Comfort, consent, and communication above all. He/Him LGBTQ+ friendly!
