Always wanted to play Dungeons and Dragons but are too intimidated by everything the Gatekeeping Neckbeard at the game shop told you about it? Well have no fear, because you have found a GM who is willing to help you ease into the game, even if before now you thought Dungeons were a kind of crab and Dragons were just something some indie band imagined. As a practioner of the "Rule of Cool" I prioritize fun over all else; rules lawyers be damned! My goal as a GM is to be there for those of you who have only been able to enjoy Dungeons and Dragons from a distance. For those of you who sit and think of all the characters you might play if only you could find a game that would accommodate them. But what about for those of you who aren't new? What about the seasoned number cruncher who would min/max a TI-84 Calculator if you let them? Rest assured there is room at the table for you as well. I have all the experience to make it seem like all your fevered scrawling and calculations were justified, and not the work of a neurotic accountant. I've been running campaigns for the last 5 years and I promise to give you all the challenges and difficulties you could ever ask for ya masochist! My name is Billy, I'm 22 years old and a student at the University of Missouri. I've run DnD campaigns at my school's D&D club for the better part of 3 years and it's been a fantastic creative outlet for me as I'm sure it is for many of you. I've always put a ton of effort into my campaigns and always try to bring the best experience possible to my players. Hosting games on StartPlaying is an exciting opportunity for me to be able to put even more time and resources into my campaigns. Charging for my services means I can truly commit myself to the stories and adventures and provide a quality experience that is of a higher caliber than what you might experience at your local game store.

GM Style

Loosen your collar, hang up your chain mail, kick up your Owlbear skin boots, and get ready to play some D&D! At my table I allow you to play the game in the way that you want. The rules are guidelines, and will always come second to the fun and enjoyment of everyone at the table. Want to make a strength based wizard? Just make sure you don't spill creatine on those spellbooks. Want to be an Agnostic Cleric who channels a superiority complex instead of a deity? No problem! When you play with me as your GM you are the captain of your destiny, just try not to send it to the bottom of the ocean, I don't think it's insured.
