About me
My name is Crusader and I’ve been dming for a few years now using both pathfinder 2e and DnD 5e. I’ve enjoyed creating resources and campaigns for other players to enjoy, and especially love it when a campaign goes to plan (very rare though!). I’ve run many games, but one of my favourites and one I still run my pirates of the Caribbean themed game, as it allows the players to really choose what they want to do. I usually stick to the rules, but I often deviate and create certain things on the fly to ensure the game runs smoothly.
GM Style
I include a mix of roleplay with skill checks and combat, and like to end the combat with a bit of difficulty. Some campaigns I run are very roleplay heavy, which many people enjoy quite a bit, but also can easily run campaigns with very little roleplay. I encourage tactics in combat, both with adding new elements like torches to add a bit of extra damage here and there and describing the effect of certain attacks on the terrain, and also with the players using flanking manoeuvres and surrounding the enemies to get better rolls and damage. I'm not the greatest at character voices, but I am always trying to improve and I don't mind if players laugh at the voice of a particular NPC, as it makes both the session and the NPC all the more memorable.
