About me
Hello my name is Crooq! I love Roleplaying Games very much, D&D 5e especially. I've always believed that running player driven and player focused stories leads to a more fulfilling experience overall. I take a bit of pride in my writing and worldbuilding, but I also like to leave space for the game designer in me that likes to create unique mechanics for such an adaptable version of this game we all love.
GM Style
I enjoy player character focused storytelling. Melding the PC's backstories into the world to create a more genuine experience for everyone. So clearly I love the roleplaying aspect of these games however, being a munchkin myself, I also like to engage with the more numbers focused players in my group in ways that they can enjoy as well. I work hard to make sure that everyone is getting what they want out of the game.

Crooq ran an official D&D 5e campaign for us and made us fall in love with the world off the pages of a book -- of many books, if you will. His Non-Player Characters are always amazing: among the best I've seen portrayed, affable and layered. I will never forget this presumably McGuffin-y character our party encountered in a labyrinth, and as we innocently kicked off the conversation, Crooq played out a philosophical discussion with us that made us swear to rescue this NPC. He's also understands the complexity -- yet simplicity -- of gender, sexuality, and race, and I've always felt entirely safe and comfortable with my party of 75% queer women. Highly recommended.
