About me

Hello adventurers! My name is Connor; I've been playing D&D 5e for several years and decided to pick up the Dungeon Master's Guide three years ago. Since then, I've enjoyed running some long-term campaigns, which have sadly ended, and therefore I'm branching out and looking for new players to run campaigns for! I am open to helping beginner players learn the ropes, and I also offer sessions for experienced individuals. All of the NPCs within my games have different voices, mannerisms and personalities to give the world a 'lived-in' feel. I also use a webcam to provide facial expressions, hand gestures and basic movements for my players to engage with. My games are always LGBT+ friendly, and there is no room at the table for bigotry. I encourage a safe environment for players to explore their characters and the world around them without fear of being judged. A little about me: I am currently studying TV Production at university while playing and planning D&D sessions in my spare time. I picked up my love of D&D through watching High Rollers and then joined campaigns after watching them play. I have also watched Critical Role for the last couple of years and thoroughly enjoy the streams. I still partake in a couple of games as a player throughout the week, but I love to run sessions for others!

GM Style

I find that my games are quite roleplay-heavy - I encourage and love interactions between characters and NPCs alike. However, there will also be engaging combat to get players' minds thinking. Speaking of NPCs, as stated in my 'about me' section, my characters all come with their own unique voices, mannerisms and personalities, so they are all unique to each other and not simply copied and pasted. The world is also filled with random encounters, both of the combat and non-combat variety, which makes the worlds feel lived-in. My games will be played on Roll20, and I will use Discord for both voice and video (though if you wish to remain off-camera, that is completely fine)! Having my video on allows me to show expressions, hand gestures and movements for the players to become more immersed, and it would be nice to see the players too, but not required! I just ask you to please have a decent microphone so that we can all hear you properly.
