Professional Game MasterCongzillahe/him
Forever GM for 30 years. My father bought me the Red Box when I was about 12, a couple days later at a sleepover I started my career as a DM. My collection quickly expanded to Shadowrun, Battletech, and West End Games "Star Wars". Dozens of system and hundreds of books later I am still collecting and playing. I am also now fortunate enough to be able to have my son playing in my regular home game. Miniature painting has always been one of my main loves of the hobby and thanks to 3d printers I am able to now indulged in that more than ever before. This is another aspect of the hobby my kids jumped right into with my 4 year old daughter painting oversized character figures and my son painting his own company of Battletech mechs. I love presenting / experiencing shared stories and building relationships through the love of a common hobby.
I enjoy games that are a mix of combat and character development. I believe presenting challenging scenarios that engage and push players is key, but I also want to see the characters progress and succeed. While I do not mind embarrassing myself acting out NPCs I make absolutely no claim of being good at voices. I am also not a authoritative rules expert. I have a firm grasp of the rules and experience running the system but mistakes will be made. I always try to error on the side of what is fun for the players. Shared fun and stories people will remember years later is always the main goal.
