About me

Hello everyone, I hope your day has been pawesome! I'm Comet (or if you find that too weird of a name to call someone, feel free to call me Gauge as well). I've been interested in D&D for about 7 years now, and I have been playing as a DM and as a player now for about 4 years. I've DM'ed for newcomers and experienced players, some of who have been playing much longer than I. And from all players of experience, I continue to grow and learn so that I myself can be a better DM and hopefully create many amazing moments for players. I encourage role play, always, even if it is "just a dungeon crawl"! Whether it's with NPCs or if it's with the party, the players' characters growing closer and creating a bond through roleplay, to me, is amazing! I also do my absolute best to tie character backgrounds to any story when I can, to me that helps makes it all a unique game. Also, I want everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, to feel comfortable when playing, I strive to create the air of a safe place when gaming, so expect to have a conversation on boundaries, what is and is not okay in session zero. And if something comes up in game that isn't, you can always say something, even if it's to just me in a private message, and I will handle it from there, anonymously if via direct messaging. And at the end of each session, I just ask everyone be honest. I like to ask how everyone felt about each session, what they enjoyed, what they didn't and why. I want to grow and make each session more and more tailored to the needs and wants of you, the player! So if I sound like the DM you're in search of, feel free to give me a bark as I'm soaring about!

I love and encourage my players to roleplay, tell me what each of your spells look like, tell me how you envision yourselves running into battle, etc. I do everything I can to customize my games to maximize the enjoyment of all my players!
