About me

Hi, my name is Coco, and you can refer to me using they/them pronouns. I enjoy playing and DMing in Dungeons and Dragons 5E, but I am looking to do more of the latter. As a DM, I am all about role-playing and improvising to accommodate player choice. I generally run my games in a homebrew setting but don't use a lot of homebrew rules. I am also planning on running some published modules. If you are considering joining a game that I am DMing, here's what some of my players have to say: "Coco has been my DM for over a year now. Coco crafts great stories, is quick at improvisation, and works with players to create interesting and fulfilling character journeys. They have a great grasp of 5e's rules and the Roll20 system, and Coco works to ensure that encounters are well-balanced to suit the plot & maps are laid out and decorated in a way that immerses players into the game. Along with all that, they are a friendly and highly respectful presence every week, keeping up with a positive and engaging energy even during those late-night sessions that go over time. My online game nights with Coco have been a bright spot during the pandemic, and I hope to continue playing with them as long as I'm able, even when in-person gaming is possible again." - *Franz* “Coco runs an exciting and rewarding game with a story you look forward to getting to experience more of. The work they put in to crafting something special is evident — the game plot is intriguing, the environments and creatures and character descriptions detailed and unique and the combat is challenging, but never punishing. It’s been an awesome experience.” - *Katie*

Coco is a fantastic GM who made sure to include our characters' back stories into the campaign. There was a great balance of RP and combat and it really felt like the choices we made mattered. I'd play with them again in a heartbeat!

Coco does excellent world building, great voices, and tells an awesome story. They also take player safety very seriously and are respectful of peoples' limits and boundaries. Their games are exciting, imaginative, and give you freedom to explore and rp to your heart's content.

I have played in several of Coco's one-shot. Despite there being a new game each week they have all varied and remained fresh. There was one that had multiple endings and it felt very open world even though we were only in one to two locations. Another we traveled through the desert. One was all about a puzzle. Once we were investigating a town and Coco was able to keep up with everything despite us splitting the party. Some one-shots have felt rushed or we'd be railroaded and this was not the case with Coco. We were able to accomplish so much in such a short amount of time. We were also left with different options and ways to go, I never felt railroaded. I highly recommend Coco if you are looking for a DM that encourages roleplay while still being able to enjoy combat.

coco always been a good DM just letting his players have fun and inventive characters, moments, and solutions.my favorite moment is when my character got drunk and almost burned down a castle. the people how would most likely enjoy cocos games are people how prioritize roleplay over fighting but still like a good amount of it in there games.
