About Estrid Huhtamaa
Hi, I'm Estrid. I am a DM/GM from Sweden. I am familiar with running games in dnd 5e, i have done so for about 8 years and I have run sessions very regularly for about 4 years, running them about once or twice a week. My pronouns are she/her. I am a transgender woman and so I am very much going to run games that are open for any type of person no matter sexuality, gender identity, nationality and disability. I am very competent in worldbuilding, scene setting, combat design and storytelling im willing to run prewritten adventures, new adventures in familiar settings, custom adventures of my players liking or my own fleshed out homebrew worlds. I would say my biggest interests in running are fantasy of any variety (low magic, high fantasy, urban, steampunk-esque and anime inspired worlds) i can also run non fantasy worlds in dnd but that will require some homebrew from me or publishers

I ran my first game...
very badly when i was about 14 i think? the first session had them fighting a demon but we didn't understand modifiers so we thought punching was the strongest weapon
How Estrid Huhtamaa runs games
I love making worlds and running worlds in a dynamic way, this includes frequent roleplay, worldbuilding and such. I ALSO love running interesting combat using preexisting and competently made homebrew monsters. My pace is faster than what I would consider the average and I very much enjoy when each session has an impact on the wider story, not just as something that happens along the way. I love using players' backstories in the campaign and even making the world we play in with the players.
