About Maxwell
Greetings, adventurers! My name is Maxwell. I began my TTRPG journey at the beginning of 2024, and I've been hooked ever since. I specialize in Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition over Roll20 and welcome both new players and veterans. I've successfully completed 3 homebrew campaigns and several one shots, making lifelong friends in the process. To me, TTRPGs are more than just games. They're community. As a long time fantasy enthusiast, nothing ignites my passion like breathing life into worlds of my own creation. I am a storyteller at heart, so I'm thrilled to invite others to come weave their legacy at my table.

How Maxwell runs games
At my table, I like to prioritize both roleplay and combat. For campaigns, I'm interested in integrating my players' stories into the setting, making them truly part of the world. I work with my players to ensure their legacies are told. Player agency is key. My NPCs are more than just set pieces. The have goals, convictions, secrets, and flaws just waiting to be discovered. Players can form bonds or rivalries and interact with them as much (or as little) as they'd like. Combat is another one of my favorite aspects of TTRPGs. My battles tend to be challenging, but fair. A loss doesn't always end in death, nor will foes sit around and wait to be finished off if conditions are unfavorable. Furthermore, clever thinking can avert a fight entirely, but always expect a battle or two. Depending on the game, I generally try to avoid killing off player characters as much as possible. Instead of death, player characters may be captured, injured, or otherwise given an opportunity to survive.
