About Fran H
I am a Spanish DM. My English is not yet fluent when speaking, but that won’t be a problem since my plan is to run sessions in Spanish. I am a very creative and open-minded person—not only when it comes to listening and creating lore, but even designing subclasses—because my main goal in every session is to achieve strong immersion. Since immersion is my top priority, I adapt perfectly to what the players want, without setting aside my own creativity. I don’t work professionally as a DM; it’s a hobby that I truly love, so I’m always keeping up with news and reading both homebrew and official material. As a DM and as a person, I don’t mind how far players want to go in terms of content, as long as it doesn’t bother others. If a group has an idea for a very bizarre campaign, I’m not afraid at all! (Always keeping a healthy limit.) That’s a bit about me, but if you’d like to know anything else, feel free to ask.

How Fran H runs games
I don’t want to sound arrogant, but when I’m a player, my DMs often have to scale up the combat because of me. (I’m not a prodigy, but I do love combat.) I don’t usually force players into very difficult encounters unless that’s something they enjoy. However, as long as it doesn’t go against the players, I gradually increase the difficulty, encouraging them to think about their resources and truly understand what they have. At the same time, I pay attention to their combat patterns and like to include some “easier” encounters at specific moments to boost the party’s morale.
