About Joshua Dimalanta
I started as a home Dungeon Master, creating stories for friends and watching simple sessions turn into unforgettable memories. Now I want to bring that same experience to more people—especially those who’ve always wanted to try D&D but didn’t know where to start. Also, coming from a distinct place, namely the Philippines, I believe there are a lot of unique stories to be told.

I became a GM because I love to create and tell stories. I find that being a GM allows me to tell more stories to more people as well as collaborate with them and create their own stories to weave it in to the greater narrative of our campaign. I am very passionate about the tales we can create.

My favorite books are horror works and horror adjacent works. I find the works of HP Lovecraft very fascinating, the worlds that he created simply leaves me in awe and wonder. Moreover, the works of Neil Geiman Fascinate me such as Ameriacan Gods. Lastly I love I have no mouth and I must scream.

When I am not running games, I have a full-time job, I also have a lovely wife and a very lively son, I love them both very much. In my off times I spend it playing games and reading books. When inspired, I do my best to write stories and adventures, immersing myself in settings and timelines.

I’m a story-driven Dungeon Master who specializes in crafting unique, homebrew campaigns that leave a lasting impression. My games lean into mystery and horror, creating a sense of tension that players can truly feel at the table. I draw inspiration from local folklore as well as authors like H.P. Lovecraft and Neil Gaiman, blending these elements with high-fantasy influences similar to Game of Thrones and classic D&D settings. While storytelling is at the heart of my games, I also enjoy intense, cinematic combat—where every battle feels impactful and vividly described. Above all, I believe that a living, breathing world is essential, where both player choices and deep lore come together to create an immersive and unforgettable experience.
