About Nathan
I’m Nathan, and I am a D&D-aholic. I’ve spent most of my life immersing myself into fantasy lore of all kinds and the better part of the last decade roleplaying and storytelling as a DM. 5th edition is my go-to, but I’ve been known to branch off occasionally to try something new. I try to bring a fun-first approach to my games, often overlooking Rules as Written and preferring “hey that’s dope, let’s try to work it out!” I run anything from horror to old-school fantasy to science-fiction, and I’m open to try to in-betweens as well. My games are lgbtqia+ friendly, and I don’t tolerate player-hate at my tables.

How Nathan runs games
I usually approach games with a 50/50 roleplay v. combat mindset, and adjust accordingly as the game progresses and I see where my players’ comfort levels are. For combat, expect a mix of difficulty levels, some fights serving only thematically while others will require a tactical approach to survive. I do not try to outplay my players with fudged rolls or spiteful moves, I prefer a fair game. I’m not your opposition, I’m just providing room and guidance to tell your characters’ stories.
