How Planar Dragon runs games
If you've ever wanted a table with more focus on roleplay and building party dynamics without skimping out on combat, look no further. My goal is to work with you during character creation and beyond to ensure your character has a place and stakes in the world so we can tell a collaborative, narrative focused, and a character driven story. Your backstory and aspirations will be delicately interwoven with my homebrew world so you feel a deep sense of connection and can experience a satisfying character arc throughout the course of a campaign. While there is a spotlight on character narrative and roleplay, this is not at the expense of exploration and combat. I'm drawn to the Low Fantasy Gaming system as a way to return to OSR concepts like hexcrawling and dungeon delving. I love crafting combat encounters that rely on unique mechanics, variable terrain, and secondary objectives. My philosophy is that your decisions and indecisions in the game should create ripples that shape a living and breathing world. While I have a story to tell, I'm here to tell it with the table and create something transformed through the influence and input of the party.
