About Elise_Enchantment
Hi there! I'm Elise, a trans GM, who loves creating stories. I'm really passionate about crafting an immersive and memorable tabletop experience. While I grew up heavily influenced by D&D games like Baldur's Gate 1&2, Icewind Dale and Planescape Torment, I've just started picking up the GM mantle around 2017/2018. Since then, I've been telling stories at the table and diving into fantastic worlds. Although my preferred GM style resolves around heroic goody two-shoes adventures, I've been running games with completely different tones. In the future, I'd like to expand my GM expertise around games like Avatar Legends, Vagabond, Legend in the Mist, Daggerheart and Fabula Ultima. My goal here is very simple: - Create a safe, inclusive, welcoming environment at my table - Prioritise clear communication and player comfort - Make sure everyone has a great time I enjoy running games for all types of players, especially new players. I'm always happy to explain rules and help with character creation in a humble and non-overwhelming way.

I became a GM because
I've always had a knack for getting people together. Someone had to plan a schedule and I was always interested in crafting stories as well as fostering a sense of community.
How Elise_Enchantment runs games
At my table, you can expect a balanced mix of roleplay, exploration, and combat, often with an episodic feel to each session. I emphasize immersion through ambient sounds, background music, high-quality maps (sometimes crafted by myself), and subtle animated effects. I enjoy table humor, but I keep the world and story grounded. Expect laughs alongside meaningful moments and a narrative that takes your characters seriously. My goal is to be as much a player as everyone else at the table. While the world and NPCs may challenge your characters, I’m always their biggest fan and cheerleader as a GM.

I once ran a session...
with an invisible tower in a jungle, causing laughter among the table and confusion between characters. A PC thought another PC was deceiving them with his magic. It lead to an awestruck moment when the party reached the top of the tower, traveled between planes, and met cloud dragons.
