About Morgz

Hi I'm Morgan, 35 year old Aussie bloke. I'm easy going and aim for my games to be a fun social experience as much as an exciting game. I only found my obsession with TTRPGs in the last couple of years and it's opened my eyes to a wonderful new world. I have experience playing D&D 5e and PF2e and began running my first Pathfinder campaign last year. I really love finding ways to connect my players to the adventure path and enhance the story to give them more buy-in.

How Morgz runs games

I will always go above and beyond to make a player's idea work in the campaign, and I spend a lot of time helping make character tokens (single or multiple) to look great. As a player I want my character to have a strong emotional connection to me and that's what I want to build. I run Pathfinder adventure paths which are always of extremely high quality and with compelling narratives and NPCs. Teaching new players to play is extremely rewarding for me and I pace the complexity of encounters, introducing more mechanics gradually to slowly expand player understanding. I am very lighthearted and my campaigns reflect that. The only times we will get too serious are impactful plot points and complex combats. Outside of that, my table is as much to have fun and a laugh as it is to undertake epic adventures.

Morgz's ideal table

I like to keep an easy and friendly atmosphere with players. If you want to have a laugh while playing and talk crap between the intense moments then this is your table.

I think min/maxing...

In principle, I hate the idea of restricting your choices to what is the strongest theoretical option... In practice, I tend to design my characters very min/max. I would rather fudge some rules to make a player's desired class fantasy playable than see them forced into a min/max build.
