About Brendan
I am a long time GM with experience in Dungeons and Dragons and Daggerheart. I love building worlds and making characters that center around my players and I want my players to have a part in the storytelling and feel like they are all the main characters. I like to adhere to my players needs so if they want a more dungeon crawl combat focused game or they want a lore heavy and story driven game or a mix of both, then that is what they'll get! I have been playing TTRPGs since I was 12, creating my own system at first before finally learning DnD at 17. Recently I have been playing a lot of Daggerheart and have been obsessed so I'd like to focus more on Daggerheart.

I do really enjoy DnD 5e but I have recently fell in love with DaggerHeart which makes things simpler and more story driven.
How Brendan runs games
I love to build my own worlds and I don't really use pre built modules. I like to incorporate my players backstories or they're ideas to the world. I will always put my players first so if they want something more combat heavy or maybe more roleplay or even just puzzles then thats what I'll work with them on and give them the experience they want. I love when players bring in cool ideas or use abilities in cool and unique ways and if a players wants to make a homebrew class or race then I'll work with them to make it fit into the setting and make sure it stays balanced but fun. I always ask my players before hand if they are okay with their characters getting killed or if they wanna keep their characters through the whole game to assure they are going to enjoy it. I also welcome all new players as I love bringing new people into these games of imagination and fun.

Great to keep the game structured but I think of them more as guidelines that can be tweaked and messed with on occasion.
