About Austin Garcia
I'm a mathematician and computer-engineer double-major. I take great enjoyment in deep worldbuilding and character-based storylines, as well as thought-out magic systems. I love the sense of depth you can get from running parallel storylines in different places, and the feeling that even every background character is involved in their own story and we've chosen to focus in on _our_ characters because their story is a good one to tell, but it could just as easily been someone else. A better way to put this is that I find important to preserve the tone that every person is one part of a much larger world, but every person is also uniquely important, valuable, and their own person.

How Austin Garcia runs games
I love to watch my characters get into shenannigans and if you have an idea I can probably talk to help you work it into the lore. I really love to run roleplay/dialogue-heavier sessions and focus more on the quiet moments and decisions between action scenes. Combat encounters aren't primarily designed to always be balanced, and it's easy to die, but with care it can be easy to live. Not a 'rule-of-cool' as much as 'rule-of-plausibility', explain to me why it makes sense and I'll probably let it slide.
